1. Reading and writing activities
2. Cooperative learning activities
3. Lecture, discussion, and note taking
4. Individualized assignments and projects
5. Research
6. Technology such as United Streaming, the Internet, and Study Island
Course Requirements and Evaluation:
1. Students will use the Holt, Rinehart, and Winston textbook The Elements of Literature - Fourth Course along with selected supplemental readings.
2. Students are expected to participate in class.
3. Students are expected to turn in assignments at the beginning of the class period they are due. No late or incomplete assignments will be accepted.
4. When a student is absent, she/he is responsible for making-up all missed work as soon as possible. Time lines concerning when assignments are due will be in accordance with school policies.
5. Students, along with the help of their parents, are expected to keep current concerning their grades.
